Bridging complex science and real-world healing

At Genetics for the People, we believe that your health story is more than a diagnosis. It's a map waiting to be decoded.

Genetics for the People exists to bridge the gap between complex science and real-world healing. We specialize in uncovering the underlying biochemical and genetic factors that shape health, with a focus on folate and methylation pathways, neurotransmitter metabolism, myelin synthesis, and neuro-metabolic function.

Using a combination of genetic interpretation, nutrient-pathway analysis, and personalized strategy, we help individuals find clarity in their health journey. Whether you're navigating chronic symptoms, rare mutations, or just looking for deeper answers, our work empowers you to re-route your biochemistry and change your genetic fate.

This isn't about treating symptoms. It's about understanding your biology so you can work with it, not against it.

Katelin Hubbard, PhD

Dr. Katelin Hubbard is a cellular and molecular nutrition scientist with a passion for helping individuals and companies understand the deeper biochemical stories behind health, genetics, and nutrition. She holds a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Nutrition from the University of Tennessee, where her research focused on the role of eicosanoids and metabolic inflammation in diabetes and obesity.

She has spent nearly two decades teaching, researching, and working hands-on with genetics, metabolic pathways, and nutrient-driven physiology. Her work has been presented at national conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals.

Today, she helps clients understand how genetics, nutrition, and biochemistry intersect to shape mood, metabolism, energy, inflammation, histamine responses, and overall health. She specializes in folate and methylation pathways, neurotransmitter biochemistry, metabolic disorders, histamine intolerance, and complex or "mystery" cases that require deeper pathway-level interpretation.

"When people understand the biochemistry behind their health, they can make better decisions and feel more empowered."
